I visited by chance while on a business trip and Sollen's exceptional hospitality made my evening truly pleasant. The wime and dessert she suggested were just perfect. I'd love to visit again of I have the chance.
My favourite place to dine. They have 2 specialised kitchens for Asian and Western. The steak is always cooker perfectly by Chef Robin, and he is always great to talk too. You can always tell they use the freshest ingredients, especially when eating the present and fish. The menu changes seasonally so it is always exciting to try the new dishes. I come here almost every month and have never been dissatisfied.
We had such a great time at The Ternary, Novotel! The food was fantastic, I tried a vegetarian meal which had Malai kofta, naan and rice. Every dish was full of flavour. The naan was a standout for the night. Big shoutout to Charlotte, our server, who was super warm and attentive, and to the chef Pawan for putting so much love into the food. The place has a relaxed but stylish vibe, perfect for a night out with friends. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Food is awesome. There is a Wilson car park that charges $15 for an evening. Service might be the only thing that can improve as my friend has problem with using her Accor plus.
Amazing service from Danielle which made the dinner occasion perfect. The dishes and staff are very responsive to your requests and I do recommend trying the wagyu t-bone as it was charred perfectly. Thank you for making the night
a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. i took my friends here on their first trip to sydney, and we were able to catch a fantastic view of the fireworks too!
After arriving back home and reflecting on our time in Sydney a highlight was our annual New Year Eve celebration! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin the New Year than with another wonderful dining experience at Ternary. Anthony Flowers and his talented kitchen team continue to deliver exceptional food that is beautifully presented and consistently high in quality. Our sincere thanks to Robin, Irene, Derek and Ken for their outstanding professionalism and care. The front-of-house team always makes us feel genuinely welcome, striking the perfect balance between friendly service and respectful attentiveness. Sylvia, Jessica and Caleb once again ensured the evening was relaxed, enjoyable and memorable. We’re already looking forward to many more visits throughout 2026.
I attended the 5 -7pm NYE banquet, and the atmosphere was light and pleasant - live music certainly added to the ambience. The food was amazing, and there was always plenty of fresh seafood available. Service is usually very good, and I think this time was at the upper end of any time I have dined.
I only have great things to say about The Ternary! I'm just going to jump right into the service. We received outstanding hospitality and service from Ella! My mum and I were out to dinner, we were enjoying our time, enjoying the view and the food and Ella was super attentive the whole time. Checking in occasionally to see how we were going with food, refilled our glasses of water if needed. Superb! As for the food, I would actually say the highlight were the entrees. We had the kingfish and the truffle mushroom, all the ingredients used were so fresh and the flavours married so well together. For mains we each had a cut of steak and it was okay, it was presented well on the plate and had like a stacked potato gratin, steamed greens with it that weren't really my favourite (call me basic but I think I would've preferred creamy mash). And finally the highlight was when we got our dessert brought out. Now the dessert itself was good but it was our waitress, Ella, who made it super special! She came out with a surprise slice of chocolate cake which said "Ladies Night" written in chocolate on the plate, turning an already amazing night to one we won't forget. She even did a double surprise and dropped a little chocolate when we got our bill. Ella deserves a raise!
